Even though most of Milwaukee’s major festivals are now in the rear view mirror, one of the city’s biggest and best undertakings is still on the horizon. Yes, Bay View Bash will make its long-awaited return to Kinnickinnic Avenue on Saturday, September 16. Though it’s still a few weeks away, you’ll want to make sure you’re around to take in the sights and sounds of the behemoth block party.

Last week, we kicked off the Bay View Bash announcements off by revealing the eclectic and all-local lineup playing the Milwaukee Record Stage. Today, we’re honored to unveil the WMSE Stage lineup. The long-running public radio station has a whole day of programming set to take place on the southernmost stage on Kinnickinnic.

The third year of the WMSE Stage will kick off with a live remote broadcast by the station’s popular Saturday Afternoon Boogie Bang show from noon to 3 o’clock. After that, the space will host a handful of impressive acts, including a homecoming performance by Faux Fiction and a headlining set by Third Man Recording artist Olivia Jean. Here’s the lineup (and the set times) for the WMSE Stage. Stay tuned for the X-Ray Arcade Stage, the Rush-Mor Records Stage, and the rest of the lineup announcements later this month. We’ll see you September 16, Milwaukee!

12 p.m. — Boogie Bang Gang (Live Remote Broadcast)
3:30 p.m. — World In Action
5 p.m. — The Steph Lippert Project
6:15 p.m. — Faux Fiction
7:30 p.m. — Olivia Jean

Oh, and something we neglected to mention last week is that Nasty Boys (a.k.a. The Cult Of Nasty) will be walking around the entire festival and performing mobile concerts over the course of the day. Be on the lookout for them on the Bay View Bash grounds as well!
