When the going got tough, Crafty Cow got creative. Within two days of Wisconsin’s bars and restaurants being shut down to the public in mid-March, the Bay View burger and chicken joint—which also has a location in Oconomowoc—didn’t just pivot to a carryout model, they launched three “virtual pop-up” restaurants with inventive concepts. As the COVID-19 crisis continues and people in Milwaukee, and almost everywhere else, are left to wonder when (or if) the dining experience will ever get back to normal, Crafty Cow is continuing to roll with the punches by unveiling another new and exciting pop-up concept that’s conducive to carryout.

Starting Saturday morning, both Crafty Cow locations will launch a “Biscuit Boys” brunch pop-up menu. Crafty Cow owner Devin Eichler says the breakfast sandwich concept’s creation is being done in effort to give diners more interesting brunch options that are won’t disappoint by the time they get to your doorstep.

“Our goal was to create brunch options that were a little more inventive than your standard eggs and bacon and that would also hold up to travel better with everything being carryout and delivery,” Eichler says. “Biscuit Boys brings a little slice of comfort to your home in the form of soft, fluffy, pillow-y goodness that will make you feel like you’re getting a bear hug with every bite.”

Eichler tells Milwaukee Record that items from the Biscuit Boys menu can be ordered any time Crafty Cow is opened. The Biscuit Boys menu will NOT be available on Grubhub or UberEATS, but can be ordered on Crafty Cow’s website or by calling the location nearest you. Eichler says this will become Crafty Cow’s in-restaurant brunch menu once the shutdown is over. Check out the Brunch Boys menu and some pictures of new items become.
