On August 31, Bounce Milwaukee closed following nearly 10 years of entertainment, advocacy, and all-around awesomeness. Though the loss of the Bay View-adjacent play place/arcade/restaurant/neighborhood hub leaves a huge hole in the community that we’re still trying to come to terms with, there might be a silver lining in its closure for some of you…especially those of you who need furniture, office supplies, and restaurant equipment that’s “priced to move.”

Today, Bounce Milwaukee posted a Facebook update about a rummage sale it will be hosting this weekend. Specifically, the sale will be taking place at its former place of business (2801 S. 5th Ct.) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 18. Here’s what the post has to say:

This Saturday November 18th from 10-3, we’ll be hosting a rummage of all our remaining supplies, equipment, furniture, and more! Need a table and chairs? Come see us! How about 2000 carryout drink carriers? We’ve got you covered. Office supplies, restaurant equipment, bar signs and so much more! Everything is priced to move and open to offers, so come pack your car with bargains!

Please note: for safety we ask you *not* to bring children. We know that’s a bit of a departure from our usual mode of operation, but it’s not the same place it used to be. Thanks for understanding.

There you have it! If you need some miscellaneous goods for bargain basement prices or you just want a piece of Bounce Milwaukee to remember the place by, make one last trip to Bounce Milwaukee on Saturday and make some offers.

Farewell, Bounce. You are missed.
