Every Wednesday at noon, Ryan Schleicher, Evan Rytlewski, and Matt Wild take to the WMSE airwaves to discuss all things Milwaukee. This half-hour fun-fest is called The Disclaimer, so named because none of the oft-ridiculous views expressed on the show necessarily reflect the views of the hosts’ employers. Milwaukee music, Milwaukee art, Milwaukee events, and D.I.Y. lawn care tips are frequently discussed—and rarely agreed upon. The Disclaimer: Talk radio for the sane.

You know what’s over? Summerfest 2018. You know what was really good? Summerfest 2018. Ryan, Evan, and Matt look back on the Big Gig that was, a remarkably well-oiled machine that rolled with the punches (Trump being in town on opening day) and seemed to hit its stride. Were there some returning hiccups? Sure—the ever-confusing BMO Harris Pavilion seating rules, bike parking—but it’s truly amazing just how smoothly the behemoth fest runs year and year out. Next, the gents take on those blasted Bird scooters, which are totally illegal but will probably end up being legal soon enough. Did Evan break the law by riding one to the WMSE studios? (Yes.) Does Ryan have any love for “disruptive” tech bros? (No.) Was Matt the guy quoted in Milwaukee’s lawsuit against Bird who taunted a cop by saying, “If you’re going to ticket me, you won’t be able to catch me”? (Maybe.)
