Having received oodles of acclaim from critics and audiences alike and a worldwide box office take of $141 million (and counting), it’s safe to call Edgar Wright’s latest effort, Baby Driver, a complete and utter success. With that, the English director is now a perfect five for five when it comes to making excellent feature-length films. Okay, five for six. (Wright himself doesn’t care to claim 1995’s A Fistful Of Fingers, which he made when he was just 20, in his body of work.)

As Rosebud Cinema prepares to say farewell to Baby Driver next week, the Wauwatosa theater has assembled a week-long film festival of sorts to celebrate the noted director’s other cinematic successes. August 11-17, Rosebud Cinema will screen “The Wright Stuff,” a potent foursome of Wright’s films that includes Shaun Of The Dead (2004), Hot Fuzz (2007), Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World (2010), and The World’s End (2013). All screenings are $5. Yes!
