Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition—a local organization that’s dedicated to creating a no kill community by humanely reducing the cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR)—to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: Denver and Aspen!
Meet Denver and Aspen! This pair of young, charming, and fluffy cats are looking for a home together. Denver is the tuxie, and the more outgoing of the two. Aspen is the grey tabby. She tends to be a bit shy, but occasionally musters up the courage to make her presence known.
Denver loves to play and gets so excited with any cat dancer or wand toys that he can barely stand it. He wants to wrestle and play so much that he will need a little redirection, as he’s still learning that humans aren’t wrestling buddies. A SmartyKat Hot Pursuit toy may be a good investment for this guy. He is quite the little entertainer!
Despite her reserved nature, Aspen adores her brother Denver, often tumbling, zooming, and chasing each other before curling up for snuggles. With Denver’s coaxing, Aspen gradually warms up to new situations and has discovered she, indeed, loves being pet.
These two cuties offer twice the charm and double the fluff! They will definitely weasel their way into your heart.
