Late last month, the more than 90 musical acts and approximately 20 visual artists took to 22 venues in five neighborhoods for four days of fun and philanthropy known as Arte Para Todos. On top of being downright awesome, the third annual Arte Para Todos also functioned as a benefit. All funds the event raised will go to support art programs throughout Milwaukee, with the vast majority of this year’s earnings promised to four Milwaukee Public Schools.

The first two Arte installments took in a total of about $40,000. Now that the donations have been tallied and collected, another $21,410 can be added to the total. That impressive sum will be donated to Roosevelt Middle School of the Arts, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. K-8, Milwaukee High School of the Arts, and Alexander Mitchell Integrated Arts School.

It’s safe to say Arte Para Todos 2017 was a success. Anyone who donated their time, money, resources, venues, and artistic talent to the event should pat themselves on the back.
