Colectivo Coffee has a wide variety of cafes spread across metro Milwaukee (and a few in Madison and Chicago), each with its own look, feel, and unique personality. However, as far as location and view are concerned, its Lakefront Cafe takes the cake. When the temperatures rise, locals and tourists flock to the inviting coffee shop at 1701 N. Lincoln Memorial Dr. to grab a beverage to enjoy before or after trips to Bradford Beach, Milwaukee Art Museum, and many other destinations. Others opt to stay put and enjoy a drink or a bite to eat out on Lakefront Cafe’s sprawling and gorgeous patio that’s just a short walk from Lake Michigan.

Each summer also brings about the return of performances by the Florentine Opera and the weekly Musica del Lago outdoor music series outside the Lakefront Cafe. This year, Colectivo asked Milwaukee Record to put together another weekly concert series, which they’re calling “Friday Nite Music.” Every—you guessed it!—Friday night between next week and the end of August, we’ll bring you a different Wisconsin singer-songwriter or band outside Colectivo’s Lakefront Cafe from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The free, all-ages concert series will start with a June 15 performance by Queen Hilma, and will continue every Friday until the August 31 finale with For The Culture.

There’s no shortage of fun things to do in the city this summer, but we’d love if you spent some of your Friday nights with us at Colectivo. The musicians are wonderful, price is right, and the location can’t be beat. Here’s the full lineup:

June 15: Queen Hilma
June 22: Caley Conway
June 29: Hayward Williams
July 6: Listening Party
July 13: Joe Crockett + Hello, Face
July 20: Nickel&Rose
July 27: Chrissy Dzioba of The WhiskeyBelles
August 3: Amanda Huff + Steve Peplin
August 10: Zach Pietrini
August 17: Klassik
August 24: VoodooHoney Horns
August 31: For The Culture
