Back in 2012, The WhiskeyBelles released their debut album, Whiskey Woman. Since then, the folk-tinged country trio has played hundreds of shows all over the Midwest, won a bunch of WAMI Awards, became a regular at Summerfest, opened for numerous respected touring acts at venues of all sizes, anchored many Milwaukee festivals, and even got to sing the national anthem before a Packers regular season home game. Next month, the accomplished outfit will add another milestone to the list while also celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the album that started it all.

On Saturday, November 5, The WhiskeyBelles and Great Lakes Distillery will join forces to release a new limited-run whiskey called “Still & Oak Whiskey – Touch Of Honey.” The bottle release event will take place on the Walker’s Point distillery’s production floor and will feature a performance by The WhiskeyBelles, as well as an opening set by Milwaukee musician (and Great Lakes Distillery Tasting Room Manager) Brendan Cleary.

Tickets to this dual whiskey release/album anniversary show cost $25 and include a cocktail. Great Lakes Distillery will be creating a menu with drinks that prominently feature Touch Of Honey, which they describe as having “a little bit of honey sweetness and a lot of bit of whiskey.” The special edition spirit won’t last long, so Great Lakes Distillery encourages people to add a bottle pre-order to their ticket purchase—a pairing that’s good for $3 off. Touch Of Honey bottles will also be available for purchase at the event (while supplies last).
