When we last wrote about Milwaukee rapper Pharaoh Mac and his producer partner DMT, they were easing us into summer with their airy, Greatest Lakes-featuring single “Drift,” the first song from the duo’s forthcoming SYMBOLS. More than a month later and on the cusp of that album’s release, Pharaoh Mac & DMT have cast another SYMBOLS track into the universe, this time with a visual component to boot.

Directed by Chanuk Algama, the music video for “Same Time” finds the pair hanging on the East Side riverfront and in the Riverwest basement of SistaStrings, who provided gorgeous orchestral accompaniment to the infectious tune. The storyline sees Pharaoh Mac falling for Dalia—a featured singer on two of the group’s earlier songs—before the two part ways. This video looks to be the last Pharaoh Mac & DMT leak before the album comes out. Fortunately, this song and video should sustain you until SYMBOLS materializes later this summer.
