With the high likelihood that injuries will impact teams over a 17-game season, pro football has a “next man up” mentality. Similarly, Milwaukee Record has a “next band up” approach when it comes to making changes to our 15-installment Halftime Show concert series in the rare instance someone needs to bow out.

Well, Piles is unfortunately no longer able to perform at halftime of the Sunday, November 19 game. However, we’ve lined up quite a replacement for them. That afternoon, accomplished Milwaukee emo outfit Barely Civil—who is in contention for “local song of the year” honors—will play an approximately 15-minute set at Cactus Club between the second and third quarters of that afternoon’s Green Bay Football™ game.

As always, this show is free (though tips are appreciated by the band) and all ages. Stick around for the game and enjoy specials on High Life and MKE Distilling Company beverages, free touchdown shots, complementary pizza from Transfer Pizzeria Cafe (while supplies last), and a DJ during playing tunes during commercial breaks. You can get more info here. Check out the full revised lineup below.
