Even though Germany’s large-scale Oktoberfest celebrations have already come and gone and many-a local version of the festivities have already taken place, Milwaukee isn’t ready to stop its Oktoberfest fun quite yet. Over the next two weeks, you can still partake in at least six Oktoberfest iterations in and around Milwaukee—and seven if you count Cedarburg, which we don’t. If you’re looking to get in some more Oktoberfest fun before it’s all over, check out this guide to Milwaukee’s remaining Oktoberfest events.

Now through Sunday, October 1
Oktoberfest @ Indeed Brewing Company
Instead of cramming everything into a single day or over one weekend, Indeed Brewing Company is celebrating Oktoberfest for weeks. Starting September and running through October 1, the Walker’s Point taproom is doing something to mark the occasion. During this span, Indeed offers liters of beer and giant pretzels for purchase daily, as well as the opportunity to play Hammerschlagen. Saturdays and Sundays bring about Beer Brûlée, brats and stein holding competitions (at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.), and music to fit the theme. Speaking of music, Sweet Shieks will play a free show in the taproom at 7 p.m. on September 27.

Now through October 8
Milwaukee’s Original Oktoberfest @ Old Heidelberg Park (Glendale)
Speaking of multi-day Oktoberfest celebrations, Old Heidelberg Park in nearby Glendale (which is apparently the site of “Milwaukee’s Original Oktoberfest”) has been keeping the fun going for more than 60 years. Thursdays through Sundays through October 8, aspiring festers can reserve a spot in the tent on the Bavarian Bierhaus grounds where they can enjoy traditional German food, tasty beer, and live (primarily polka) music.

Saturday, September 30
1840 Oktoberfest @ 1840 Brewing Company
Bay View’s 1840 Brewing Company will be hosting a September 30 Oktoberfest block party that will include a performance by Polka Fusion, food in the form of pretzels and goodies from Tots On The Street, stein holding and stein racing contests, and “the ever-infamous hammer and nail game.” Oh, and there will be beer galore.

Saturday, September 30
Ubertoberfest @ Third Space Brewing
Just a week removed from their massive seventh anniversary blowout, Third Space Brewing is inviting people back to another celebration on spacious patio. From 1-6 p.m., the inaugural Ubertoberfest will feature polka from the Polish Moon Trio, food from Smoke Ring BBQ, hammerschlagen, a stein holding contest, and the release of its new “Ubertoberfest” Imperial Oktoberfest beer.

October 6-8
Milwaukee Oktoberfest @ Cathedral Square Park
Swarmm Events is bringing Milwaukee Oktoberfest to Cathedral Square Park for three days of Germanic fun that includes live music (mostly polka with a little Pat McCurdy thrown in), plenty of beer and food from Kegel’s Inn, and contests like a bratwurst eating competition and a Wiener Dog Beauty Pageant.

Saturday, October 7
OktoHarvest ’23 @ Urban Harvest Brewing Company
Last but not least, Urban Harvest Brewing Company’s “OktoHarvest” event will bring a so-called “Blocktoberfest” to Walker’s Point from 1-8 p.m.. The event will feature music from the Polish Moon Trio, bites from The Iron Pig food truck, and the release of Urban Harvest’s Oktoberfest.
