Last year’s inaugural Bandsketball tournament was nothing short of a rousing success. Musicians hailing from all corners of Milwaukee and a number of different genres came together in Riverwest on the courts at Center and Fratney Streets to play a 32-team basketball tourney with an underlying goal of helping the local music scene come together in a unique and fun way. By the end of the four-weekend event, SAFS Crew topped WebsterX and friends in the finals to earn the first Bandsketball trophy.

Bandsketball 2015 tips off Saturday, July 11 and continues every Saturday through August 1. Bremen Cafe will host a water and supplies fundraiser tonight with a free show featuring New Boyz Club, a mystery band TBA, EyeRobot, Ms. Lotus Fankh, and Thurman Merman.
