Arcade Fire have a new album called Everything Now. The promotional rollout for Everything Now has been kind of annoying. Ryan, Evan, and Matt discuss the band’s snarky, preemptive “review” of their album; the “dress code” debacle for a Brooklyn show; earnest, heartfelt music versus navel-gazing piss-takes on the “world we live in today;” muddying the satiric waters with a bunch of Trumpian bullshit; and possibly getting jumped by an angry WMSE DJ after the show.
