“To get you festival ready, we have compiled a get around guide to assist in navigating your way to Summerfest,” said Sarah Pancheri, President and CEO, Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. “Whether you are taking the bus, The Hop, a bar shuttle, riding a Bublr bike, walking or utilizing ride-share, we want to thank our various transportation partners who help get you to Summerfest to enjoy all the great music, food, and experiences.”

There are many convenient transportation options available during Summerfest 2024 and include:

Take Transit
Milwaukee County Transit Service (MCTS) will offer expanded service during the three weekends of Summerfest.

• MCTS is offering an additional shuttle route to Summerfest from the Hales Corners Park and Ride lot for Summerfest 2024. Festivalgoers now have three options at Park and Ride lots throughout Milwaukee County – College Avenue, Brown Deer, and Hales Corners. Summerfest shuttles are cashless – fares are $10/round-trip.

• The CONNECT 1 BRT line is extended to The Couture transit concourse, a short walk to the festival’s north entrance. MCTS will provide more service on Saturdays with buses arriving every ten minutes. The nine-mile route from Wauwatosa’s Watertown Plank Road Park and Ride lot to downtown Milwaukee will be $2 each way.

• Several MCTS local routes are within walking distance of Summerfest. A 90-minute fare is $2 for riders ages 12 and up and $1 for youth 11 and under and seniors 65 and over, and people with qualifying disabilities. Riders pay on the bus via the Umo app, WisGo card, or cash. All MCTS buses are accessible for persons using mobility devices.
