Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition—a local organization that’s dedicated to creating a no kill community by humanely reducing the cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR)—to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: bonded brothers from other mothers, Marcus and Peter.

Meet Peter and Marcus, bonded brothers born on the same day, but from different mothers. These affectionate, sweet, and perfect angels want nothing more than to be your best friends and playmates.

Peter, a black beau, is the epitome of playfulness. This dude is ready to play all day, every day. With a few small white patches on his chest and white ear hair, he stands out as the brave and adventurous one. His boundless energy and curiosity are matched only by his loving nature, as he purrs almost at the sight of you.

Marcus, a brown tabby destined to have stunning golden eyes, is the perfect balance to Peter’s exuberance. He plays hard, but also loves a good cuddle. His calm demeanor keeps Peter in line, making them the ideal pair. Like Peter, Marcus is incredibly affectionate and purrs with delight at any attention.

Both boys are always up for a game and love toys…all the time. They share a special bond and bring out the best in each other, making them a perfect pair for any loving home. Adopt Peter and Marcus, and you’ll gain not just one, but two loyal, playful, and affectionate companions. They’re ready to fill your home with love, purrs, and endless entertainment.
