While the current conditions outside aren’t doing much to support the claim, Milwaukee’s festival season is right around the corner. Though this weekend’s Mitten Fest is a good preview for what’s to come, the city’s lengthy festival season truly begins with PrideFest. Each June, thousands of people flock to Henry Maier Festival Park for three days of entertainment and a celebration of all things LGBTQ+.

Last year brought record-breaking attendance figures, with more than 33,000 people coming through the gates. Milwaukee Record was honored to play at least a small part in last year’s PrideFest. The smallest part, to be exact. Pride organizers allowed us to transform the Northwestern Mutual Children’s Theater into the “Milwaukee Record Stage,” and we packed our great little stage full of bands, stand-up comedians, and a live podcast. We had a ton of fun. Apparently, PrideFest was pretty happy with it, too. They’ve asked us to come back in 2017.

We’re thrilled to announce the Milwaukee Record Stage is officially returning to PrideFest (June 9-11). With one year under our belt, we feel comfortable adding more acts and even more variety to the lineup this time around. Stay tuned for our lineup, along with details about who will perform on every other stage.

Three-day passes are on sale now and cost just $30 for a limited time. We’ll see you in June!
