After months of renovations, a handful of pop-up events, and loads of anticipation, Uncle Wolfie’s Breakfast Tavern finally has an opening date. The Brewer’s Hill breakfast and lunch restaurant (located at 234 E. Vine Street) announced Friday on Facebook that it will officially open to the public on Monday, December 17.

The restaurant is owned and operated by the eponymous Milwaukee musician and coffee guru Wolfgang Schaefer and Whitney Schaefer. Its hours will be 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends. And yes, the so-called “breakfast tavern” will offer beer and cocktails. In addition to the bar and restaurant, the historic Cream City brick building will also house Orange And Blue Co., the Schaefer’s “curated lifestyle shop,” which will be open to shoppers Fridays through Sundays.

Stay tuned for pictures, an early glimpse at the menu, and/or a First Impression article. In the meantime, prepare to visit Uncle Wolfie later this month.
