Girls Rock MKE Needs Your Help
Dear beloved Girls Rock community,
Girls Rock MKE is facing unanticipated financial setbacks, including rising camp expenses and increased financial aid needs for camp families. In order to fully replenish our vital scholarship fund for 2024 and continue operations as usual, we need to raise $20,000 by the end of 2023. We can’t do this alone!
How You Can Help:
• Donate directly to Girls Rock MKE at girlsrockmke.org/donate – any amount helps!
• Talk to your workplace about the possibility of corporate giving and/or sponsorship opportunities
• Come on down to this Saturday’s WMSE Backyard BBQ between 12-8 p.m. and buy a raffle ticket to win a Les Paul Jr guitar & hard case (plus can’t-miss performances by Girls & Ladies Rock bands from 2-3:30 p.m.)
• Attend our Indeed We Can fundraiser on Tuesday, September 19 any time between 2-11 p.m. – Indeed Brewing Company will give 100% of net proceeds for the night to Girls Rock MKE
• Save the date for a Battle of the Bands fundraiser on Sunday, September 24 from 3-6 p.m. at X-Ray Arcade
Girls Rock MKE is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and all contributions are tax-deductible. In addition to subsidizing camper tuition assistance, instrument repair, and supplies for annual camp sessions, donations also help to pay Girls Rock MKE’s part-time staff directors and our volunteer band coaches and instrument instructors at camps, which is an essential part of organizational efforts to diversify our volunteer base.
