Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition—a local organization that’s dedicated to creating a no kill community by humanely reducing the cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR)—to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: a one-eyed wonder known as Tina.

Meet Tina! This quirky, one-eyed wonder is as charming as they come. With a repertoire of cute noises and a love for head rubs, Tina is sure to steal your heart. She’s a talkative girl who adores using her cardboard cat scratcher and indulging in her favorite activity: getting butt scratches. When she really enjoys those scratches, she’ll lean over so far it looks like she’s attempting a headstand with her rear up in the air!

At first, Tina might be a bit shy, but once she bonds with you, she’s all about attention, snuggles, and napping together. She loves to curl up in front of a window, basking in the sunshine, and watching the world go by. Despite her independent streak, Tina is extremely sweet and good-natured towards all people.

Tina would thrive best in a single-pet home where she can be the star of the show. She’s not fond of dogs or other cats, preferring to soak up all the love and attention for herself. Her patience and gentle nature make her an excellent companion for young children and teenagers. Even during a less-than-favorite bath time at her foster home, Tina didn’t scratch, hiss, or bite, and she handles nail clipping and brushing like a pro.

If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate, and incredibly sweet companion, Tina is the perfect fit. She’s ready to be your one and only, showering you with love and adorable antics every day.
