Since 2011, Bay View Gallery Night has organized “Milwaukee’s largest annual celebration of art, local business, music, and community.” The massive neighborhood-wide event brings together talented area artists and musicians, along with an eclectic mix of Milwaukee bars, restaurants and retailers for a large-scale happening that has quickly become a part of the Bay View tradition. It’s free. It’s fun. It’s locally-focused. What more can you ask for?

We’re pleased to report Bay View Gallery Night will return for an 13th installment on Friday, May 31. TBCo will also host Brush Box. “Brush Box is a community focused, therapeutic arts company that curates hand packed art kits and develops art programming throughout the city of Milwaukee. Founder Amber Thomas is an Art Therapist who used her knowledge of therapeutic techniques to curate activities that combine the joy of creating with moments of regulation and reflection.”  An array of art kits will be on display and available for purchase. Kits are appropriate for ages 3-100!

House Of Gaud

Vintage home furnishings and gift shop House of Gaud welcomes Milwaukee-based multidisciplinary artist and designer Jannet Dženeta Habibovic (she/her/hers). Join us for fresh vintage furniture, home accessories, and Jannet’s fabulous live fashion illustrations. Enjoy light refreshments while you strike a pose and bask on vintage sofas.

Stories Of The Streets Vintage
Stories of the Streets welcomes interdisciplinary artist Basha Harris and their small batch, bespoke jewelry to the showroom.

Studio Ehr

Architecture and Interiors firm Studio Ehr invites you to visit the studio, explore our design work and enjoy light refreshments while mingling. Featuring artisan and friend, Chimenti Studios. Italian plaster craftswoman Carrie Chimenti will show custom wall finishes, low relief sculpted walls and hand stenciled surfaces far beyond the scope of wallpaper.

Enlightened Brewing

Enlightened will be welcoming our friend Margaret Muza for Bay View Gallery Night again for a Tintype Photography pop-up. She’ll be taking tin-type portraits on-site on various size plates that develop before your eyes, then they’re available to you after she applies a durable finish at her studio. Enlightened will have fresh beer and Sweet Smoke BBQ will be serving food from 5-7pm or until they run out.

1840 Brewing Company
Bay View ceramic artist Michael Ware will be showing his latest abstract ceramic sculptures along with a selection of recent functional wood fired and 3D printed pottery. Michaels complex and vibrant sculptures pair well with 1840’s beverages, it’s a match made in hop heaven.

Semolina MKE is proud to host artist Angela DeStefanis whose work includes hand woven textiles, paintings, and potted succulents. As in previous years, we will be sampling wines, cheeses, and other Italian products throughout the evening.

URSA
Christina Persika of Persika Design Co. is a Milwaukee-based mixed-media artist, designer and muralist. Her work features motifs of nature and fauna that are infused with folk art, mysticism, and influences from her Scandinavian heritage.
