Last May, Pabst Milwaukee Brewery & Taproom celebrated its first birthday with a full-fledged block party. The “one-year anniversary street festival” featured an eclectic mix of musical acts, including Nnamdi Ogbonnaya, Platinum Boys, Zed Kenzo, Mary Allen And The Percolators, Ric Wilson, Caroline Smith, and No Stress Collective. We were there! It was a great time.

In the months since that party happened last spring, Pabst Brewery & Taproom significantly ramped up its live music and comedy programming, while also improving its sound quality and stage. Meanwhile, Milwaukee Brewing Company moved into a huge and gorgeous new space a couple blocks away, and the now vibrant neighborhood was officially renamed “The Brewery District.”

There’s now a lot to celebrate in this once-overlooked segment of the city. On Saturday, May 25, The Brewery District will be alive with food, art, music, and beer when Pabst Brewery & Taproom, Milwaukee Brewing Company, and Glass + Grill host the inaugural Frühling Fest. In addition to rare tappings of special beers from the breweries, food from local vendors, live art, a makers market, and a Preservation Park beer garden, the block party will host tons of bands from 12-7 p.m.

Here’s the full Frühling Fest lineup. Set times are TBA.
