Adventure Time. It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. I Think You Should Leave. Joe Pera Talks With You. What do all these beloved shows have in common? They’ve all been the subjects of themed pop-ups at Milwaukee’s beloved beer bar The Sugar Maple, 441 E. Lincoln Ave. (The Nintendo and Wes Anderson pop-ups were super good, too.)
So what’s the next Sugar Maple pop-up, you ask? Sing/shout along with us: SPONGE-BOB SQUARE-PANTS!
That’s right, kids! On Friday, February 7 and Saturday, February 8, The Sugar Maple will become “Bar-Kini Bottom,” complete with SpongeBob-themed cocktails, décor, food, music, and more. “Don your favorite Hawaiian outfit and join us for a fanciful and festive weekend!” says The Sugar Maple. Oh, we will!
Cocktails will include:
• Pineapple Under The Sea- A Sotol Mai Tai, featuring Pink Pineapple infused Los Magos Sotol
• Sandy Cheeks- A Pink Squirrel with Cream and Amaretto
• Mr. Krabs- A Singapore Sling with Gin, Saffron, and Luxardo Cherry
• Chum Bucket- A Sugar Maple secret formula with Coconut Aquavit and Rye Whiskey
• Weenie Hut Jrs.- A non-alcoholic rum punch, with ISH (NA Caribbean Spiced Spirit), Pineapple and Lime
