In case you somehow missed the news, allow us to let you know Sugar Maple is hosting a pop-up devoted to Adventure Time this weekend. The ambitious and unconventional “Hall-Ooo-Ween: An Adventure Time Pop-Up & Art Show” transformation kicked off Thursday evening and will run through Sunday, October 27.

During that span, the Bay View business (located at 441 E. Lincoln Ave.) will host “themed original artwork from local artists, a themed vendor fair of local craftspeople, an adult human costume contest, a cat and dog costume contest, a ping-pong tournament, a cornhole tournament, face painting, food trucks, a bacon and pancake brunch, Jake’s Favorite Sandwich, themed featured cocktails, a themed photo op, along with a number of themed decorations and surprises throughout the venue.” The pop-up is free to attend and is an all-ages event (with Sunday being a predominantly kid-friendly event). According to the press release and event schedule, “animals are welcome on the patio, and will be walked through the bar on Sunday for Jake and Cake’s Catwalk Costume on Sunday.”

Shortly after Sugar Maple opened on Thursday afternoon, we were the first through the doors to take in the sights, sounds, and flavors of “Hall-Ooo-Ween: An Adventure Time Pop-Up & Art Show.” We snapped a few photos to give you an idea of what to expect, but we made sure to leave some surprises for you as well. Check out these photos and get yourself to Sugar Maple right away to experience the pop-up firsthand.
