There are roughly 24 hours to go before the opening of the 2025 Wisconsin State Fair (July 31 – August 10). As always, Milwaukee Record staff (all two of us) will be on site bright and early, parking our cars in someone’s lawn, and gorging ourselves on this year’s Sporkies and Drinkies finalists. You know, the best new State Fair food and drink items that usually involve putting something strange on a brat. We can’t wait.

But which Sporkie finalist is the best of the best? Which Drinkie? The Fair announced the winners on Tuesday. Up first, your 2025 Sporkies winner is…

Ube Butter Banana French Toast Lumpia
