When we last basked in the sun-kissed sounds of Nice FM, the Milwaukee-based production house and electronic label had released its “Night Swim” compilation—in the middle of winter. Now, seven months and many degrees later, Nice FM is back in its natural habitat. The new “Sunrise” comp is a perfectly chill, occasionally sizzling collection of summer sounds from Strehlow, Pilots, LUXI, and many more.
Nice FM head Dashcam describes his latest mix as a “breezy, chilled out set of tracks floats between organic grooves, warbly acoustics and synthy backdrops. Rise and shine, let’s watch the sun come up.” Dashcam’s track alone, “Before We See The Sun,” is enough to soothe even the nastiest sunburn.
