x-ray and garibaldi get my vote, plenty of room and great sound, don't have to wait 20 minutes to get a drink or take a leak, also x-ray has pizza bagels, unfortunately it's way the fuck in cudahy

Haven't seen a show at Falcon Bowl yet but if the sound is good, it's an ideal club layout...
I am biased to DIY venues, so I'm a big fan of MKE Ultra. X-Ray and Cactus are also great.
Falcon Hall needs some more sound treatment, last time I was there they finally added some but it still sounded a bit cavernous. Still have yet to see something at Falcon Nest though.
What do you mean by small? Some of what’s posted seems large to me. Since Circle A is no longer, MKE Ultra has my vote for best small venue.
MKE Ultra and the Falcons Nest are both great. X-Ray is a great venue, but it holds like 350 people.
