THE CITY OF WEST ALLIS ANNOUNCES FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY DATES
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – May 16, 2023 – WEST ALLIS, WIS – Celebrate summer with a unique dining experience in the City of West Allis! Food Truck Fridays will take place on eight Fridays throughout the summer at the West Allis Farmers Market, 6501 W. National Ave. Each date will feature a variety of food trucks, live music, and more. All events are held from 5-8 p.m. The dates and music lineup are as follows:
• Friday, June 16 – Orlando Peña
• Friday, June 30 – Roxie Beane
• Friday, July 14 – Jay Matthes
• Friday, July 28 – Sam Grady
• Friday, August 18 – Leah Jee
• Friday, September 1 – Party Marty
• Friday, September 15 – Ricky Orta Jr.
• Friday, September 29 – Scott Kirby
“Food has the power to bring people together, and Food Truck Fridays unite the community over a shared love of trying a wide variety of cuisine,” remarked Dan Devine, Mayor of the City of West Allis. “We bring the best trucks in the area, local breweries, and local entertainment, all in one place. You can’t go wrong on a Friday night at Food Truck Fridays.”
Admission for Food Truck Fridays is free. Each night will feature a rotating lineup of the area’s best food trucks to ensure there is something new every visit. The food trucks offer a range of cuisines from BBQ to tater tots and everything in between, including appetizers, main dishes, desserts, and drinks. In addition to over 15 food trucks at each event, enjoy craft beer from Ope! Brewing Co. and Perspective Brewing, live music from local musicians, and activities for families.
