The one, the only, the incomparable Nick Cave will play Milwaukee’s Riverside Theater on Wednesday, September 27. The date is part of the legendary musician’s just-announced North America solo tour. What else can you say?

“Nick Cave is anything but ordinary,” says the Riverside. “Right from the very beginning, his is a sound like nothing else on earth. Across four decades and 17 studio albums, Cave has firmly cemented his position as one of the most acclaimed and sophisticated songwriters of his generation. The influential artist is bringing his solo tour to the Riverside Theater stage to perform songs for his extensive catalog. This is absolutely a show not to be missed…don’t be sorry you weren’t there.”

Also: Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood will be accompanying Cave on bass.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, March 31. A pre-sale begins Thursday, March 30 at noon.

Cave and his Bad Seeds were scheduled to play Milwaukee in 2020, but the show was canceled due to COVID-19. Before that, a 2014 concert represented the band’s very first headlining show in Milwaukee, ever. (Shout-out to all the fellow olds who saw the band at Lollapalooza ’94.)
