Summerfest! It runs June 26-30, and July 2-7! It’s at Henry Maier Festival Park—a.k.a. the Summerfest grounds! General admission tickets usually cost $15 or $23! Not bad! Like Mad magazine always says: cheap!

But what if you’re cheap and want to get in for free? Luckily, there are free admission promos for nearly every day of the 11-day fest. If you just want to know what to bring and when to show up to claim your free day-of ticket, read our down-and-dirty guide below. (All promos are good at any gate, unless otherwise noted.)

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26

• From noon until 3 p.m., bring three cans of peaches or pears.

THURSDAY, JUNE 27

• From noon until 6 p.m., bring a specially marked Pick ‘n Save receipt from May 1 – May 28, 2019. Every $50 spent equals four free tickets. (Limit three offers / 12 tickets per transaction.)

• From noon until 6 p.m., all general admission tickets are just $5. Get those $5 tickets online or at any gate.

FRIDAY, JUNE 28

• From noon until 3 p.m., show up at the Mid Gate Promotions Booth wearing a shirt or hat from the following colleges or universities: Alverno College, Bryant & Stratton College, Cardinal Stritch University, Carthage College, Carroll University, Concordia University, Gateway Technical College, Herzing University, Marquette University, Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Area Technical College, Milwaukee School Of Engineering, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

• From noon until 3 p.m., if you’re a high school student, show up at the Mid Gate Promotions Booth with a verified high school ID.

• From 3 p.m. until 4 p.m., be among the first 400 patrons to show up at the Mid Gate Promotions Booth.

SATURDAY, JUNE 29

• From noon until 3 p.m., be among the first 1,200 patrons to bring “an original, specially marked receipt showing a minimum purchase of $15.00 made at a Goodwill Store & Donation Center from June 1 – June 29, 2019.”

SUNDAY, JUNE 30

• From noon until 3 p.m., be among the first 2,500 patrons to bring three “nutritious, non-perishable food items for kids.” Suggested items include “canned chicken or tuna, fruits canned in 100% juice, and low sodium vegetables.”

• From noon until 3 p.m., if you’re active-duty military personnel or a veteran, bring your military ID to the designated turnstile at any gate. Good for up to four family members, too.

TUESDAY, JULY 2

• From noon until 3 p.m., show up. That’s it.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 3

• From noon until 4 p.m., if you’re 60 or older, show up at the designated turnstile at any gate. You’ll also get a voucher for $2 off a food or non-alcoholic beverage purchase over $10.

• From noon until 3 p.m., bring a valid H.O.G.® (Harley Owners Group®) card.

THURSDAY, JULY 4

• Be among the first 15,000 people to download the Official Summerfest App.

SATURDAY, JULY 6

• From noon until 3 p.m., be among the first 1,500 patrons to bring “gently used children’s books with a $10 minimum value” to the Mid Gate Promotions Booth. “Picture books and early readers for children ages birth through 10 are preferred.”

SUNDAY, JULY 7

• From noon until 3 p.m., show up. That’s it.
