Some Milwaukee songs and videos practically bleed Milwaukee. Others are literally called “Milwaukee.” Back in 2019, tireless Milwaukee troubadour Trapper Schoepp delivered a Milwaukee-heavy video for his Bob Dylan co-write “On, Wisconsin.” Now, in support of his excellent 2021 release May Day, Schoepp has gone full Milwaukee with a video for breezy album track “I Am A Rider.” And he brought his little dog along, too.

The “I Am A Rider” clip is a virtual bike tour of some of the city’s most beloved spots: Lake Park, Pabst Brewery, the Milwaukee Art Museum, the Domes, the Urban Ecology Center, Leon’s, and much more. Hell, we even get a glimpse of that Boat House on the East Side. Produced by Samer Ghani and co-starring Schoepp’s Boston Terrier pal Leroy, the video also serves as a perfect summer day bottled up into three minutes. It’s bright, it’s sunny, it’s Milwaukee.

Oh, and speaking of the Domes, Schoepp is set to play there on September 29. Leroy may or may not be there, too, and may or may not get into a Desert Dome scuffle with Steve The Bearded Dragon.
