This week: our legally mandated Summerfest recap! The 2021 Big Gig wrapped up this past weekend, and it was, well, different. COVID concerns, vaccine concerns, the fact that it was split into three weekends, the fact that it was split into three weekends in September—choose your favorite wrinkle to explain the weirdness (and the less-than-capacity crowds) of this year’s Summerfest. But hey! It was a good time anyway, and Matt and Kristin have nothing but love for the pandemic-year party. Plus: another installment of “Mandatory Johnson”!
