Back in April, Milwaukee screamo/post-hardcore band Garden Home released its excellent self-titled debut album. “Garden Home is now a band in full bloom,” we said, “as its long-awaited debut album shows those seeds have grown into something substantial.”

One of the highlights of the album was second single “The Worst Of It,” a track we praised for its “pummeling goodness” and “career-best riffage.” Now, lo these many months later, there’s a video for “The Worst Of It.” It, too, has plenty of pummeling goodness. One shot of it, to be exact.

Directed and edited by Samer Ghani, the full-band performance video plays out in a single uninterrupted shot. Upping the ante are oodles of hanging picture frames, visual shout-outs to Garden Home‘s cover art and the band’s recent publicity shots.

Want to try and replicate the video? Dust off your Stedicam and catch Garden Home live on Wednesday, December 4, at the normally chill Sugar Maple. Montana-based post-hardcore band Fly Over States will headline the show, and Circuit Circuit and Graysea will join Garden Home in support.
