Back in January, we let you know Taco Stop MKE would be coming to Bay View. The family-owned and family-operated chain spent the subsequent months renovating and prepping the Bay View Commons retail space at 2121 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. (that was previously home to a Subway before Fuji Poké’s brief tenure) for what was to become its first location in Milwaukee proper. As of today, Taco Stop’s Bay View location is now officially open for business.
This newest location brings Taco Stop MKE’s total number of restaurants to three. The first Taco Stop opened at 513 N. Chicago Ave. in South Milwaukee in 2016. Since then, another Taco Stop opened in Elm Grove. Of course, Bay View’s Taco Stop MKE is carryout only right now on account of Milwaukee’s COVID-19 restaurant restrictions.
