The Wauwatosa location of Pizza Man, 11500 W. Burleigh St. in the Mayfair Collection, will have its final day of service on Sunday, August 24. Pizza Man’s Milwaukee location, 2597 N. Downer Ave., will remain open.
“It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of our Pizza Man Wauwatosa location, with our final day being August 24th,” the restaurant posted to social media on Tuesday. “We’ve cherished serving you our pizzas and creating memories together. Thank you for your incredible support over the years!”
The message continued:
To celebrate you, our amazing community, we’re rolling out daily specials from August 19th through August 24th as a heartfelt thank you. Check our Facebook and Instagram pages for details on these specials!
Come join us for one last slice at Wauwatosa! Our Downer Avenue location will continue to welcome you with open arms and hot pizzas.

The Wauwatosa Pizza Man opened in 2015. The Milwaukee Pizza Man spent an ill-fated year on Humboldt Avenue before relocating back to its longtime Downer Avenue location in 2024. The original Pizza Man opened in 1970 on North Avenue. It was destroyed in a fire in 2010.
