Remember when every website on the World Wide Web didn’t kinda-sorta look the same? Or, at the very least, when every website hadn’t yet jumped on the “clean/minimalist” bandwagon and were funky, loaded with text, and plagued by animated GIFs? Want to relive those days? Okay! Using the trusty Wayback Machine, let’s look at some Milwaukee restaurant websites—now and then!

There wasn’t much criteria in assembling this random list—places needed to be located in Milwaukee (yeah yeah, Kopp’s is outside city limits, but its old website has an animated Packers helmet!) and they needed to be open in 2024. That’s it! Enjoy! Long live the Weird Old Web!
