Last fall, we told you that Egg & Flour Pasta Bar—the brainchild of former Black Sheep executive chef Adam Pawlak, which opened its first restaurant inside Crossroads Collective last May—intended to open a second location at 2273 S. Howell Ave. in the former site of Bay View’s D14 Brewery & Pub. In that article, we’d indicated owners were anticipating an early 2020 opening date for the new location. Today, we’re finally able to tell you the fast casual pasta bar’s Bay View location will officially open for business on Monday, March 9.

According to a press release, the new Egg & Flour will be open six days a week, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Unlike its Crossroads affiliate, the larger-scale space in Bay View will also offer customers a variety of private label wine offering, a local and craft beer list, soda, and “on tap” prosecco. Ownership also intends to host pasta making classes at the new site, as well as chef collaboration dinners, and “unique Chef’s Table experiences where Chef Pawlak will do multiple course tasting menus accompanied by beverage pairings.”

Get ready, Bay View. Egg & Flour is coming to the neighborhood next week!
