Following a few weeks worth of postponements, cancellations, and general uncertainty surrounding the few events on the planet that haven’t yet been postponed or canceled, we wouldn’t blame you if you simply assumed Milwaukee Record‘s upcoming Milwaukee Day Showcase at Company Brewing would no longer be happening. After all, April 14 is coming up quick.

Well, we’re thrilled to let you know the show will NOT be canceled. It will, however, be postponed. Though it won’t be taking place on Milwaukee Day itself, we thought it would be a shame to let such a great lineup and civic-centered event we helped put together go to waste. Plus, we, like, had a poster designed and everything. So while wait and hope for COVID-19 concerns clear up, we wanted to give you something fun to look forward to in the coming months.

We cordially invite you to join us at Company Brewing on Friday, August 28 for a second attempt to celebrate Milwaukee Day (414 x 2 = 828, after all!). Our “Milwaukee Day Make Up” show will feature the same great lineup as before. Performers will include Mark Waldoch & The Hallelujah Ward, Fox Face, and Devils Teeth. Stay tuned for details on show time, tickets, and sponsors. Until then, mark your calendar for August 28 because we’re going to throw a party for Milwaukee, dammit!
