Way back in February, we tipped you to news that Gold Record-selling rapper Bubba Sparxxx would be performing at the unconventional concert confines of Cudahy’s own City Lounge on April 30. We then went to the strange suburban show and actually had fun. Subsequent months have found the bar and grill in the misunderstood city booking nationally semi-regarded acts like David Allan Coe, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony member Layzie Bone (October 9), and the Juggalo rapper who allegedly filmed a friend chopping off a woman’s finger, among others. Still, Sparxxx remains the most famous musician to ever perform on City Lounge’s patio stage.

If you missed the first time the man behind “Ms. New Booty” and “Ugly” came Cudahy’s way, you’re in luck! Bubba Sparxxx will return to City Lounge on Monday, October 31. Pre-sale tickets to this show, almost six months to the day since Sparxxx’s previous appearance, are $10 and will be available via City Lounge’s website beginning Tuesday, October 4. After a holiday weekend spent seeing local acts covering noted musicians at area bars, you can now spend Halloween proper watching the real deal at City Lounge.
