You wanted the return of Milwaukee summer festivals? You got the return of Milwaukee summer festivals. The latest fest to announce its imminent comeback is the always awesome Brady Street Festival. The long-running East Side festival will take over nine blocks of Brady Street for the first time since 2019 on Saturday, July 30, from 11 a.m. – midnight.

“To the delight of our residents and businesses, the Brady Street Festival will return this July to showcase our eclectic neighborhood,” says Teri Regano, owner of Regano’s Roman Coin, in a press release. “The Festival promises to have a little something for everyone.”

Brady Street Festival was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Pet Parade happened last October, though, and it was delightful.

“If you haven’t been to Brady Street in a while,” says Rachel Taylor, executive director of the Brady Street BID, in a press release, “the Brady Street Festival is a great time to check out the new businesses that have opened in the past two years, including Pete’s Pub, St. Bibiana, Würst Bar, Bandit, Nomad Coffeebar, Black Ink MKE, Twisted Plants (opening soon), and Nashville North (opening soon).”

Brady Street Festival will include three stages of Milwaukee music, plus a host of vendors and activities. Stay tuned for those announcements!

Other Milwaukee summer festivals returning in 2022 include Locust Street Festival (June 12), Summer Soulstice (June 18), Center Street Daze (August 13), and Fromm Petfest (September 24). Summerfest will be back, too, June 23-25, June 30 – July 2, and July 7-9.
