Yes, on the long afternoon of May 6, 2025, Milwaukee towing company All City Towing successfully removed the stranded, abandoned, and beloved boat from its seven-month resting place between Bradford and McKinley beaches. We were there with hundreds of fellow Milwaukeeans to witness the historic/devastating event:
The boat continued to live on even after it was towed. Milwaukee County’s highly touted full-boat auction intended to recoup $20,000 in towing fees netted a mere $2,525—and the guy who won it was the guy who owned the towing company that towed the thing. After that, dude gave away pieces of the boat for free. Music videos were released. It became a bobble. We remembered.

And we continue to remember today. We miss you, boat. We wrote 8,000 articles about you. We wrote a song about you. It was fun. It was funny. Oh God, were we ever so young?
