Do like big Milwaukee events? Do you like small Milwaukee events? Do you like strange Milwaukee events? If you do, you’re in luck, because that’s what I talked about for my latest appearance on TMJ4 afternoon show What’s Brewing Wisconsin!
So let’s get specific. This weekend’s BIG event is Mitten Fest. It’s set to go down on Saturday, February 7 from noon to 8 p.m. outside of Burnhearts. Find everything you need to know about it HERE.
For smaller events, try our monthly Milwaukee Record Club collaborative vinyl spins at Wiggle Room. On the first Wednesday of the month, the staff of ye olde Milwaukee Record (all three of us) spin songs that fit a certain theme. And better yet, folks are invited to bring in their own records with songs that fit that theme. We’ll spin those, too! We’ve already done “all-local” and “heartbreak” themes; March 4 will be all-female artists, and April 1 will be comedy and novelty songs. Find more information HERE.
And does it get much stranger than our Great Milwaukee Can Koozie Swap & Bar Chip Bonanza? Nope! It’s coming to Club Garibaldi on Saturday, February 14, and it promises to be a hoot. Find out everything you need to know about it HERE.
And thanks, as always, to everyone at What’s Brewing for having me on! I’ll be back after the Olympics!
