It’s nearly that time of year again! What time of year, you ask? That time of year when WMSE’s Art & Music takes over the historic Pritzlaff Building, of course!

Yes, on Friday, February 6 from 6-10 p.m., the ninth annual Art & Music station fundraiser will fill the Pritzlaff, 143 W. St. Paul Ave., with roughly 180 album-sized artworks that will be available to purchase via auction. Featured artists include Nova Czarnecki, Mark Winter, Dara Larson, Matthew Gramling, Francisco Ramirez, Von Munz, and more.

The auction will open online on Friday, January 30. It will close at the event, Friday, February 6 at 10 p.m.

“This event brings together art lovers and music enthusiasts in a way that’s uniquely Milwaukee,” says WMSE Station Manager Tom Crawford in a press release. “We’re proud to host such a dynamic celebration.”

In addition to the album-sized artwork, Art & Music will feature live music (and live art!) from Nineteen Thirteen, and a soundtrack from WMSE’s Chillosophy DJ Tony Myers. Will there be beer and food trucks on site? Yes.

Tickets to the fundraiser are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Get them in advance HERE.

“Art & Music will be an event to remember, featuring exceptional musicians, artists, and community leaders,” Crawford says. “It is a night that not only celebrates creativity but also deepens the connections within our community, ensuring that Milwaukee’s artistic culture remains vibrant and enduring.”
