Every Wednesday at noon, Ryan Schleicher, Evan Rytlewski, and Matt Wild take to the WMSE airwaves to discuss all things Milwaukee. This half-hour fun-fest is called The Disclaimer, so named because none of the oft-ridiculous views expressed on the show necessarily reflect the views of the hosts’ employers. Milwaukee music, Milwaukee art, Milwaukee events, and D.I.Y. lawn care tips are frequently discussed—and rarely agreed upon. The Disclaimer: Talk radio for the sane.
Perhaps you’ve heard that former ’80s child star Corey Feldman recently made a bizarre appearance on the Today show, performing a bizarre EDM song entitled “Go 4 It” with his bizarre backing band of lingerie-clad “Corey’s Angels.” Perhaps you’ve heard that the internet, as it’s wont to do, had a field day with said bizarre Corey Feldman Today appearance. Perhaps you’ve even heard that Feldman, distraught by all the online “haters” and “bullies,” broadcast a sob-filled call for civility on Facebook Live. But have you heard Ryan, Evan, and Matt engage in a surprisingly nuanced and compassionate discussion on the whole Corey Feldman ordeal, touching on issues of criticism, abuse, and exploitation? No? Now you can! Also on the docket this week are the renovations coming to Summerfest’s Miller Lite Oasis stage in 2017, and this weekend’s Fromm Petfest, which features an appearance from world-renowned pooch Noodles the Wonder Dog.
