Every Wednesday at noon, Ryan Schleicher, Evan Rytlewski, and Matt Wild take to the WMSE airwaves to discuss all things Milwaukee. This half-hour fun-fest is called The Disclaimer, so named because none of the oft-ridiculous views expressed on the show necessarily reflect the views of the hosts’ employers. Milwaukee music, Milwaukee art, Milwaukee events, and D.I.Y. lawn care tips are frequently discussed—and rarely agreed upon. The Disclaimer: Talk radio for the sane.

What’s been going on in Milwaukee lately? Plenty. Ryan, Evan, and Matt kick things off this week with a quick discussion of Tuesday’s Bill Murray show at Riverside Theater, in which the one-time Meatballs star read prose and poetry alongside a classical trio. Next, Matt marvels at how little fuss has been made over the impending installation of an 18-foot-tall bronze sculpture outside City Hall. Whatever happened to the “Blue Shirt” bickering of 2001? Or the Art Milwaukee “Tournavation” nonsense of 2014? Finally, Evan leads a discussion on Kendrick Lamar’s recent Pulitzer Prize win, and shows some love for the new Field Report record. Oh, and Matt talks about meeting Billy Mitchell at the Midwest Gaming Classic, and Ryan (of all people) recounts an old Batman comic that featured Two Face wearing diapers.
