Despite the dozens of festivals, block parties, and weekly outdoor music series taking place on Milwaukee soil every summer, Milwaukee Boat Line sees fit to extend the city’s celebratory spirit to the water with its annual Concert Cruise series. Every Friday and Saturday between early June and the end of August, a whopping 25 Wisconsin bands and rappers will board the Vista King to perform on the lake vessel’s poop deck while the beer and pre-mixed margaritas flow liberally for two hours.

Recently, Milwaukee Boat Line posted the lineup for its 2016 Concert Cruise series. The eclectic lot of landlubbers range from local favorites like Soul Low, Midwest Death Rattle, Canopies, 5 Card Studs, and Whiskey Of the Dammed to perennial Concert Cruise performers like Category X, Avenues, and Boney Fingers, all the way to interesting outliers like Doghouse Flowers and The Grovelers (who, fittingly, will share a date with The Hullmen). Check out the lineup below, and buy tickets in advance, as space in limited.
