Last year, SistaStrings set sail on the Milwaukee River for the maiden voyage of the No Wake! music video series. Now it’s Klassik‘s turn to hit the open waters and help viewers think about warmer days ahead with the second installment of the unique video series.

The almost-25-minute episode begins with the Milwaukee singer, rapper, producer, and multi-instrumentalist performing “Light The Way” from the bow of a boat floating in Lake Michigan. The vessel later docks outside The Cooperage, where Klassik and co-owner Emily Dell Revord have a patio discussion about her venue and some challenges Milwaukee artists face. The video also features Klassik performing “Active” off of his 2019 album, QUIET, from the trolling boat before concluding the episode back at The Cooperage, where he takes the stage and offers up an outstanding rendition of his song “Long Ago.”

No Wake! is produced by Silver City Studios. This episode was shot by Milwaukee videographers Kelly Michael Anderson and Ryan Reeve, and is sponsored by The Cooperage and Boone & Crockett. Milwaukee Record is proud to join Breaking And Entering and OnMilwaukee as official media partners of the entire series. An upcoming episode will feature Caley Conway. Stay tuned!
