All dressed up with nowhere to go? Walking with a dead man over your shoulder? If you find these two things to be true on Halloween Eve, then don’t run away—attend WMSE‘s Halloween dance party, “Radio Dead Time,” Thursday, October 30 at Anodyne Coffee in Walker’s Point!

The free, all-ages event will feature music from Milwaukee artists Seances, El Sebas, and Red Quean. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the music will begin at 6:45 p.m. Costumes are encouraged.

“Milwaukee seems to be in an interesting shift when it comes to radio. However, one cornerstone for over 43 years has been WMSE 91.7,” says Seances singer and bassist Eric Arsnow, who is organizing the event. “WMSE gives local musicians and artists a platform to be seen and heard, which in turn enriches Milwaukee’s culture. The importance of that cannot be understated and we’re fortunate that the staff at WMSE are some of the most loving and caring supporters we can have in this city.

“In turn, as a local musician, I feel like it’s always my responsibility to give back however I can,” Arsnow continues. “That is why I encourage everyone to attend ‘Radio Dead Time,’ our Halloween gala, and consider becoming a supporting member of WMSE or donate to their digital library transition. It’s going to be a killer dance party featuring music from El Sebas, Red Quean and my new endeavor, Seances!”

As hinted by Arsnow, “Radio Dead Time” will take place during WMSE’s Fall Membership Drive. WMSE, as we all know, rules. Become a Sound Citizen Member today!

Oh, and if you can’t make it in person, all the fun will be broadcast on-air and on the WMSE mobile app, and will be streamable online. But come on! Everybody’s comin’, leave your body at the door!
