When we last checked in with Cozy Danger, the funk-tinged indie rock trio was partying with pooches in its “Where Are All My Dogs At” music video. This time around, they’re paying “tribute to female badassery” with another fun and fairly ambitious music video release.

Yesterday (just a few days removed from the conclusion of Women’s Month), the band put out a video they say is intended to honor the powerful women who have “shaped [their] outlook on the world.” The video for Cozy Danger’s new single, “Fuck Yeah Get It Girl” showcases a strong, no-nonsense female protagonist excelling in the workplace. The video, which was shot by Dolister Films at Arts @ Large, features a boss (played by Ali Thomas) displaying her strength, assertiveness, business acumen, and guitar skills as her staff—including Cozy Danger’s members playing enthusiastic custodians—looks on in awe.

Cozy Danger will play Arts @ Large’s “Music Under The Stars” series in support of Wolves With Virginia on Friday, April 8. Before that show, check out the band’s “Fuck Yeah Get It Girl” video below.
