Following a year that offered very little in the way of in-person events, live music is coming back in a big way in 2021. On top of the return of many of Milwaukee’s festivals, block parties, and concerts at traditional venues, a variety of other establishments are now getting in on the live music fun with summer concerts.

Adding to small-scale shows at local breweries, bar and restaurant patios, and pontoon boats is a brand new concert series that will take place in the backyard of Milwaukee’s first dedicated hemp and CBD retailer. Starting this Thursday and continuing sporadically throughout the summer, Canni Hemp Co. will host “Garden Vibes” performances behind the Walker’s Point shop.

The series will kick off with a June 24 performance by Joe Quinto, followed by Milwaukee-based projects like Immortal Girlfriend and Tae, as well as out-of-town acts like Disconapse and Christopher Gold. Here’s the lineup as it stands right now.

June 24: Joe Quinto
July 8: DJ Yianni
July 10: Immortal Girlfriend
July 22: Disconapse
July 30: Tae
August 26: Christopher Gold

Canni owner Colin Plant tells Milwaukee Record more Garden Vibes concerts will be added over the course of the summer. Tickets to these 7:30 p.m. shows cost $20. Admission comes with one pre-roll to enjoy on-site during the show and a free edible product. Tickets to this week’s Joe Quinto concert are available now. Check Canni’s online shop for tickets to other Garden Vibes installments as the show dates approach.
